This project creates an Open Innovation Center for Multiple Green Applications, a national benchmark. I am Verde functions as an interdisciplinary and inter-institutional network capable of enabling synergistic interaction between the scientific-academic, business and governmental communities, with the potential to induce and revolutionize public policies that guarantee a production-commercial chain of safer chemical products, with tangible socio-economic and environmental benefits. 

Within this Center, the group led by Dr. Juliana Souza aims to develop a gas biosensor to detect drunkenness when voting. The sensor will be incorporated into a wearable and worn by the driver.
